20 Reminders for Women - Happy International Women’s Day

As we celebrate International Women's Day, it's essential to reflect on the journey of womanhood, the obstacles we overcome, and the resilience we exhibit. Here are key reminders for the incredible women everywhere:

  1. My voice holds power and my words matter; I won’t let self-judgment around speaking “too much” or “too little” hinder it’s expression.

  2. Every day, I have a chance to unlearn outdated norms and redefine what it means to be a woman.

  3. I can be both - strong and soft.

  4. I can challenge the negative narratives within and prioritize self-compassion over self-criticism. I am enough and I am worth it.

  5. I can question traditions that perpetuate inequality. I can participate in dismantling these systems and strive for equality.

  6. I can embrace authenticity, even if it means defying stereotypes. My uniqueness is my strength.

  7. I can speak up without waiting for permission. My opinions are valid, and my voice deserves to be heard.

  8. I can practice self-awareness and set boundaries. My needs are essential, and advocating for them is an act of self-care.

  9. I can assert myself with kindness. My assertiveness does not diminish my kindness; it enhances my self-worth.

  10. I can break the taboo surrounding female sexuality. My desires are natural and worthy of open discussion.

  11. My feelings are valid. I won’t hesitate to express them, and demand the respect they deserve.

  12. My anger is valid. I can use it as a catalyst for change and empowerment.

  13. My needs are valid and deserving of fulfillment.

  14. I can celebrate my individuality and resist societal pressures to fit into boxes.

  15. I can embrace authenticity boldly. I am enough!

  16. You are inherently worthy of love and acceptance.

  17. I can embrace change and growth. I can give myself permission to evolve and free myself from the constraints of self-judgment.

  18. I can hold value in myself.

  19. I can allow myself to take a break, ask for support and prioritize self-care.

  20. I am allowed to feel my emotions. It does not make me “too sensitive” or “too emotional”
